The world's most tech-savy country Estonia, famous with its virtual citizenship is now calling for offers to design a virtual reality project.
According to a recent post by Estonian journalist Sten Hankewitz Enterprise Estonia and e-Estonia Showroom have announced an international tender to design an e-Estonia virtual reality experience. The goal is to introduce e-Estonia benefits to investors and startups.
e-Estonia is a common term used to describe Estonia's emergence as one of the most advanced e-societies in the world. Estonians can vote electronically or buy bus tickets via the internet. They can sign documents digitally, fill tax returns and follow their startup finance activities via web. Skype and TransferWiseare one of the most well known startups from Estonia.
The deadline for submission is 15 September 2016. The winning offer will get a three-year contract and a total estimated maximum budget of €1 million euros. The terms and agreements can be found here.
